The way I play
Every note has a purpose.
I love playing romantic ballads and pop songs. I listen closely to the original singer, including the small details in how they deliver a melody. When the party picks up, I enjoy playing upbeat music too.
I like to give a melody room to breathe. Seeing someone smile when they recognize a song is one of my favorite parts of performing.

Meet your saxophonist
Hi, I'm Eric.
I started playing piano and drums when I was seven. In 2009, my mom encouraged me to learn saxophone. I barely knew what the instrument was at the time. Once I tried it, I wanted to play all the time. Some days I practiced for eight hours.
Church was where I first performed on saxophone. There was room to improvise and explore different ways of playing a melody. For years, music was something I did because I enjoyed it. I never thought much about turning it into a career.
While I was in college, I was hired to play at a wedding in Guatemala. That first booking led to more, and before long I was performing at weddings almost every weekend. I've since been hired for performances internationally.
I pay attention to the people listening. I love when someone recognizes a song, looks over, and smiles. It's a small interaction, but it stays with me. I want people to see how much I enjoy playing, because I really do.

A few details.
How long is a performance?
Bookings begin at one hour of music. If your schedule calls for shorter sets at different moments, I’m happy to discuss how to divide the booked performance time.
Do you bring sound equipment?
I perform solo with backing tracks from my iPad. I bring my saxophone and backing tracks, but I don’t currently provide a sound system. Your venue or event team will need to arrange the audio setup, and we can confirm the details beforehand.
Where are you available?
I’m based in Bend and available for weddings and private events throughout Oregon. Travel expenses may apply depending on the location. Outside Oregon? No problem! Reach out with your date and venue, and let’s make it work.
Can we request particular songs?
Please choose your songs from my Spotify repertoire. If your event is at least two weeks away, you can also request a song that is not on the list. Reach out with the title and artist, and I’ll confirm whether I can prepare it in time.
What kinds of events do you perform at?
Weddings are my main focus, including ceremonies, cocktail hours, dinners, and the start of the celebration. I’m also available for corporate events, birthdays, and anniversaries.
